Mixed-SKU China Wholesale Order & Consolidation Checklist
Plan a mixed-SKU China wholesale order using line-level MOQ, case packs, carton totals, compatibility checks and one controlled RFQ.
Reviewed and updated 2026-07-28What buyers should remember
- Each SKU must satisfy its own MOQ, increment and case-pack rules.
- Shipment totals should be calculated from line-level carton facts.
- Products are not automatically compatible because they share one order.
- Consolidation, export packing and freight scope are confirmed in the RFQ.
Mixed-SKU order control checklist
| Control point | Required evidence | Decision output |
|---|---|---|
| Product lines | Exact SKU, quantity, price and pack configuration | A valid buying list without substituted identities |
| Quantity rules | MOQ, buying increment and case pack for every SKU | Orderable line quantities and carton estimates |
| Cargo facts | Carton count, dimensions, gross weight and volume | A shipment total suitable for route review |
| Compatibility | Goods type, handling, restriction and packing requirements | Products approved or separated for transport |
| Commercial scope | Allocation, freight, Incoterm, validity and open conditions | One reviewable quote for the confirmed plan |
Validate every SKU before combining totals
A mixed order is still a set of independent product lines. Preserve the exact SKU, brand or variant, unit price, requested quantity and published pack configuration for each line. A similar image or product name is not a valid substitute.
Apply MOQ and buying-increment rules separately. Then compare the result with case pack. If a quantity creates a partial carton, record it as an open packing question instead of assuming the warehouse will accept it.
- Use one exact SKU for every order line.
- Normalize the quantity to the published buying increment.
- Keep unit price and quantity snapshots in the RFQ.
- Flag partial cartons and missing carton data.
Build shipment totals from carton evidence
Add line-level carton counts, gross weights and volumes only after the underlying pack data is complete. The total helps compare express, air and ocean routes, but it does not decide whether the goods can physically travel together.
Carton dimensions, fragile packing, liquids, batteries, food, medical-category goods or other handling conditions may change the available route. Unknown compatibility should remain an explicit review item.
Confirm what consolidation actually includes
Ask whether the commercial scope includes receiving, sorting, relabeling, repacking, palletization, export documentation and final delivery. A quote that covers only main transport is not equivalent to a door-delivered consolidation service.
Elosung can preserve several product lines in one procurement list and RFQ. Sales and operations still confirm available stock, physical consolidation, freight route, destination eligibility and final packing for the actual order.
Buyer questions, answered directly
Can different Elosung products be added to one buying list?
Yes. The procurement list can contain multiple exact SKUs and calculates product, carton, weight and volume facts from the selected quantities.
Does one buying list guarantee one consolidated shipment?
No. Physical consolidation depends on allocation, cargo compatibility, export packing, route availability and destination requirements. Those conditions are confirmed in the RFQ.
Must every SKU meet its own MOQ?
Yes, unless the formal quote confirms an exception. Each line should satisfy its published MOQ and buying increment independently.
Can restricted and unrestricted goods travel together?
Do not assume so. The actual products, carrier acceptance, handling rules and destination requirements must be reviewed before a combined route is quoted.
